On Friday, January 25, 2013, Burns Day, The Centre for Scottish Studies at Simon Fraser University's Downtown Campus four members of the Sons of Scotland helped set a new record for the continuous reading and singing of Burns works.

New Record Set for Reading Burns' Poetry

On January 25, 2012, Robbie Burns Day, Simon Fraser University and their Faculty of Scottish Studies, attempted to set a record for the longest continuous reading of Burns Poetry.
